The Pour is murky red or as the name would suggest, a Pink(er) hue. On the nose it’s delivering straight-up Raspberry beer notes and you can almost feel the texture from the smell alone.
The carbonation is high enough on the mouthfeel and on the glass the foam vanishes quickly, leaving a pencil-thin cling.
The tasting notes for Pink(er) Boots delivers Raspberry sweetness and matching tartness. Mid to aftertaste the flavour becomes bitter and herby/floral to finish. The real delivery from this brew is a competent 6.2% ABV fruit beer. A subtle but refreshing ale with none of the notes associated with fruited IPA’s.
Pink(er) Boots is a Hibiscus & Raspberry IPA brewed from their farm in Maryland, and made using the 2020 Pink Boots Hop Blend, which includes Azacca, El Dorado, Idaho Gem, and Loral.
The Pink Boots Society, whose major purpose is to help women in the brewing business improve their studies and careers, receives $3 for every pound of this hop mix purchased.
